Hello again!
John Lennon said “Life is what happens to you when you’re busy making other plans” in his touching song ‘Beautiful Boy’ – and that is indeed what has happened in the past couple of weeks.
My trip to China was interesting – but fruitless as far as shopping goes and I had returned home to find my darling husband had supervised the project beautifully. I had walls and rooms where there was empty space and the plumbing and electricians had done their job. The painter was organized and we thought we were doing really well. Pictures below
show some of the progress.

Floor to ceiling walls – such a remarkable difference!
And then life happened. During a routine check up with our GP, tests were organized and John ended up spending 9 days in hospital before a quintuple bypass. He is recovering well and the surgeon is very happy with the progress he is making. I, of course, will be much happier when I have him home.
This naturally means the project is put back a little – but it will be well worth waiting for.
Thank you for staying with us on this journey, I’m sure your patience will be well rewarded when we finally open our doors.
Until next time – keep smiling,
