Hello again,

Spring has sprung and the world is certainly looking brighter.  Well, it is from my window. I love these warmer days and going home whilst it’s still light.

Since our last newsletter we have celebrated our first birthday !  It seems impossible but it’s true – a whole year since we opened for business.  If you were here on the day you enjoyed our delicious little cupcakes and coffee – on the house!  If you weren’t – be sure to make it next year!

September has seen us visit the most recent Trade Fair – must admit I didn’t really see anything particularly different or interesting – so consequently have not much to report on that front.  Mind you – I am still waiting for a number of items to arrive from Melbourne….watch this space!

I am very excited that at long last the flameless tealights have arrived in the country!  The lovely Salome rang me this afternoon and is in the process of getting a shipment together for me.  These little treasures will save all the worry on flames being knocked over on tables etc. but without the expense of a charger and set of 12.  Can’t wait to see them in the store!  (Of course we will still stock the 4″ and the 6″ rustic flameless candles which come in cream, red and green – perfect for Christmas!)

If you haven’t been into our store lately you won’t have seen the two beautiful prints I bought in Melbourne. They are just gorgeous – but I am biased….I love Paris…and New York!!

They look even better up close and personal….come and see for yourself.

Another of my very favourite things downstairs are these beautiful lamps.  The glow they give off in a darkened room through the leaf cutouts is just mesmerising.

Also with glowing in mind, the 3 piece lotus tea-light holders are back – in 2 sizes and 2 colours, white and bronze.  They create a real ‘chill’ zone – perfect for destressing at the end of a long, busy day.

Can you feel your heartbeat slowing…..relax!

And speaking of relaxing…and meditating….

This month – perhaps because it is Spring – has seen a number of clients coming in to chat about colours and plans for decorating rooms, some very exciting projects appear to be in the pipeline. Well done – love to see this sort of activity – keep up the good work!
